Hey NYCO,

The list of nominees for our next committee is out! Interviews will begin next week.

Tuesday (21/7, 3.30pm): YQP, Sheng, Suona, Pipa
Thursday (23/7, 3.30pm): Ruan, Liuqin, Xianyue
Friday (24/7, 3.30pm): Dizi, Cellobass

Venues
Tues & Fri: History Room, Library 4th floor
Thurs: Recording Studio P3-03, Auditorium Block 3rd floor (near band room)

Procedure
1) First 3 people report outside interview room at 3.25pm sharp.2) After first person is interviewed, she will go back for practice and call the 4th person.
3) 2nd interviewee will call 5th person, 3rd will call 6th, so on and so forth.

How to prepare (for the nervous/clueless)
Think about...
1) What post you may be interested in
2) Why you are suitable for that post
3) How you want to contribute to NYCO as a committee member etc etc
Just be your usual (good) self and speak calmly :D

Concert Listings

Hey NYCO, some upcoming concerts you may be interested in:

1) Heartstrings
This is not a CO concert, but a charity concert organised by Inspire '09.

Venue: Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre

Tickets are priced at $8 each and all proceeds will be donated to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

Performers: Singapore National Youth Orchestra’s chamber quartet, Just Brass Ensemble, Duet Pianists Jonathan Shin and Chan Chi Ling, Pianist Clarence Lee, Violinist Alan Choo, Vocalist Matthew Quek, Anderson Secondary School Choir, A cappella Groups Key Elements and Tone

Yo NYCO,

Since FOA is postponed, our committee nomination session will be tentatively on the following Tuesday (14 July). Everyone will gather at M401 at 2.30 pm, submit their nomination slips and be dismissed (unless you have xiaozu).

Let's hope CCA doesn't get suspended anymore ;__; Or our committee results will be out really late. Like, really late.
